Individual psychotherapy is a dedicated space for you to explore your life, your patterns, and your healing. Whether you’re navigating emotional pain, identity development, chronic stressors, or major transitions, therapy can support you in creating meaningful change.

Chronic medical conditions, including the emotional, relational, and identity-related challenges that accompany long-term health issues
HIV/AIDS, including medication adherence, stigma, grief/loss, trauma, and the daily realities of living with HIV
LGBTQ+ identity, relationships, and life transitions
Substance use and co-occurring mental health concerns
Attachment wounds, childhood trauma, and relational trauma
Anxiety, depression, and stress-related conditions
Major life changes (career, identity, parenthood, separation/divorce, family issues)

Sex Therapy (in training) – I am currently completing certification in sex therapy and consult weekly with a certified sex therapy supervisor for cases involving sexual intimacy, sexual functioning, and sexuality concerns

Couple’s Therapy.
Couples therapy offers a structured space to strengthen connection, repair ruptures, deepen intimacy, and rebuild safety and trust. My work with couples integrates relational science, attachment theory, and cultural/contextual understanding.
Who I Work With
I support couples who are experiencing:
Communication challenges and recurring conflict
Emotional distance, disconnection, or resentment
Infidelity, betrayal trauma, or secrecy
Life transitions that strain the relationship
Differences in sexual desire, sexual functioning, or intimacy
Healing from trauma within the relationship
Complex relational dynamics related to LGBTQ+ identities, coming-out processes, sexual orientation acceptance, or exploring new relational structures
My Approach With Couples
Attachment-based sessions to help partners understand underlying needs and patterns
Culturally attuned work that respects identity, values, gender expression, sexual orientation, and family systems
Transparent, supportive work with sexual concerns, conducted in consultation with my sex-therapy supervisor as I complete my formal training
Integration of chronic-illness and health-related stressors into relational healing
Non-judgmental support whether couples are repairing, reconnecting, redefining boundaries, or deciding the future of their relationship

What Therapy Looks Like
1. Initial Consultation
We explore your goals, your concerns, and whether we’re a good fit.
2. Collaborative Treatment Planning
Together, we identify themes and create a map for your therapeutic work.
3. Weekly or Bi-Weekly Sessions
Sessions are approximately 60 minutes for individuals and 90 minutes for couples, online via secure HIPAA-compliant telehealth.
4. Ongoing Support & Review
We track progress and adjust goals as your life evolves.
5. Closure or Maintenance Care
When your goals are met, we shift toward closure or occasional check-ins.
